Malta offers its Digital Nomad Residency for 6 months stay, but it can be extended for 1 year Digital Nomad Residence Permit. It allows you to live in an english speaking country with great climate and culture and join a developed expats community.
Required documents:
-full-time employee: letter of confirmation from the company, signed by director/CEO
-entrepreneur: company ownership or partnership statement
- Filled application form
- A decent scan copy of passport of your non-EU citizenship country (valid for six months beyond the expiry date of the visa)
- Proof of employment outside Malta

- Proof that the applicant works remotely and independent on location, using telecommunications technologies
- Full health insurance
- Proof of required minimal income ( EUR 2,700/month gross of tax)
- A valid property rental or purchase agreement in Malta for duration of your stay
Process:
- Prepare proper scans of all required documents (in english)
- Pay the €300 of administrative fee for each applicant
- You will be notified when the process is complete
- Get your invitation for the final appointment in Malta
