Estonia was famous with its E-Residency program, although it didn't give any permission to live or work there. But for ones who plan a long-term stay in Estonia with ability to travel inside of Schengen zone - there is a Digital Nomad Visa.
Estonia was famous with its E-Residency program, although it didn't give any permission to live or work there. But for ones who plan a long-term stay in Estonia with ability to travel inside of Schengen zone - there is a Digital Nomad Visa.
Required documents:
- visa application form printed and signed
- documents certifying that you can work independent of location and that you use telecommunications technology in your work;
- documents certifying that you work: for a foreign-registered employer, for a foreign-registered company in which you have a shareholding, or as a freelancer or consultant mainly with foreign clients;
- proof that your income during last six months is more than €3504 euros (including your salary, dividends, director fees, rental income, interest from investments, shares, assets, etc)
- a description of your education and job experience
Process:
- Fill out the online application form, print and sign it
- Make an appointment at your nearest Estonian Embassy/Consulate to submit it in person
- Pay the state fee (€80 for type C and €100 for a type D visa)
- You can expect the result within 30 days of your application.
